How Does The Programme Work?

• In order to take the advantage of the regulation,an evaluation report showing the market value of the sought immovable property should be prepared in accordance with the evaluation standards and this report should be prepared by the evaluation experts approved by the CMB.

• The market value of the sought immovable property in the evaluation report is shown on the basis of the amount in the immovable property/properties for the value on the date of the transaction in American dollars and calculated based on the effective selling rate of the Central Bank of Turkey.

• If you already own a property in Turkey and woul like to apply for the Citizenship by Investment programme, your property should be purchased and registered on the land registry office after January 12, 2017 which is the announced date of the change in the law and the value of the said property should correspond or more than
the said amount in the law which is 250.000 USD. The amount of the property should be calculated by the effective rate of the Central Bank of the Republic on the title deed registry date.

• In the case of the acquisition of more than one properties of the same person; all the properties should be purchased, registered in the land
registry office after January 12, 2017 which is the announced date of the change in the law and the sum of the said properties should correspond or more than the said amount in the law which is 250.000 USD. The amount of the properties should be calculated by the effective rate of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey on the title deed registry date.

• Within the scope of the Article 20 of the By-Law on the Implementation of the Turkish Citizenship Law, it has committed itself that it will not sell the  property / properties for the period of 3 years from the registration date of the title deed / deeds as they are acquired for the purpose of gaining Turkish citizenship

• It is going to be specified that regarding  the declaration buyer there is a commitment that it will not be sold within three years from the date of acquisition Under the Article 20 of the Regulation on the Implementation of the Turkish Citizenship Law,

• If a property which was registered in the land registry Office after January 12, 2017 but the said commitment was not written on the title deed than this commitment could be added on the title deed.
